Our ladders are custom built out of wood and painted in whatever colours you choose - dance school/gym club colours, match the bedroom , mermaid themed? We will give it a go.
As they are handmade out of wood (and not manufactured out of plastic in a factory) each one may differ slightly, and the wood may have small knots or grain in places. But we love their individuality - it's what makes them so unique.


The standard ladder is perfect for all ages.  Its slightly heavier weight (support struts and bigger feet) makes great for walk back (when pushed up against a wall or something solid) as well as splits, and floor stretches.  And for younger ones they are good for standing stretches .

You can choose to have your ladder personalised one side or both.  You must select the appropriate choice from the drop down menu.  If you choose both you can have different names on both sides.  PLEASE NOTE  - we are limited to the number of letters we can place on each ladder.

We put crystals around the name for added sparkle as standard - if you don't want them just let us know in the name field.


Our timescales depend massively on how many orders we have in the queue ahead of you.  Generally we advise giving us 4 weeks - 3 weeks to build, undercoat, paint and personalise your ladder and then 3 working days for delivery.   If you need your ladder in a shorter timescale, please email us before ordering.  We may suggest that you choose express delivery (next day delivery) as this gives us a little longer to make your ladder before we need to dispatch it.


Please supervise any children using their ladder.  They are not designed to be climbed on, sat on, stood on etc.   Also stretching should be done with advise of professionals, such as a dance teacher or gymnastics coach.   We can not be held responsible for any injuries caused by the misuse of your ladder or by unsupervised training.


When you receive your ladder PLEASE check it in within 48 hours.  If there is damage we have a short window to claim compensation.  Its as heart breaking to us as it is to you if they don't arrive in perfect condition.  If you are worried about this, we suggest you have your ladder sent dismantled (this is obligatory for a large one)  

If the ladder is faulty please also inform us within 5 days of receiving it.    We may be able to help you remotely or we can arrange collection of your ladder so we can rectify the issue and return it to you   If we are unable to rectify the original ladder we will of course supply you with a replacement   Please note that if we can find no fault with the ladder after we have collected it there will be a charge of £10 to return it back to you  

Tightening of screws

Sometimes the process of delivering your ladder can result in the screws holding the bars coming a little loose, and your ladder won't feel as secure as it should.  Please just gently tighten the screws by holding the bar and using a Philips (cross-headed) screwdriver.  They don't need to be overtightened - just enough until the ladder is secure.



We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to return your item.  Please note personalised or custom built items can not be returned unless they are damaged or faulty.  

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please return your item with the packing slip - advising us on the slip why you would like to return the item.  If you would like an exchange we will send you an invoice for the shipping of the replacement when we receive your item back.

Damage and faults
Please inspect your order upon receiving it  and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.    

If a personalised or custom built item is damaged or faulty we can arrange to have the item collected from you to correct the issue.  Please note that if the fault turns out to be a self build issue there will be a cost to return the item to you.  

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalised items unless faulty), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to repurchase the item and return the initial item back to us for a full refund.  You can of course request an exchange on the returned packing slip and we will invoice you for the reshipping when we receive the item back.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
